Hearts For Heroes

Hearts for Heroes offers Veterans an experience based journey to the core of self - the self that says, “I want to live!” Our Veterans have lost sight of self, not by fault or choice, but by traumas that have been compounding for years and are now spilling over. Why? And how can we make it stop?

Our free Hearts for Heroes program consists of three parts covered in a two-day class.

Both days include snacks, drinks, and delicious lunches. We also take care of hotel reservations, and travel cost assistance is available.

Through voluntary exercises like guided meditation, music, private journaling, shared experiences, and group work, Veterans are offered an opportunity to see the core of their true self and begin to heal where it is needed most.

The effects of living with unresolved traumas have been taking the lives of countless men and women who have served their country up to their very last breath. These heroes now need our help, and we are here to do just that.

Hearts for Heroes is designed to recreate simplistic pieces of your past in order to address the significance of your present. We travel down the root to where thinking patterns come from, identify how they were learned, and look at the ways in which they have both served and hurt you.

These voluntary exercises include Topics such as:

  • Spiritual Connection

  • Forgiveness of Self & Others

  • Family of Origin

  • Building Trust

  • Value & Worth

  • Connection to Self

  • Negative Patterns / Beliefs

  • Developing Healthy Coping Skills

Impact

Our classes are helping more people every day. Take a look at what people who have experienced real change have to say:

  • “Now you stumble through the days thinking when they will be over, the inevitable end has to come soon (I mean it did for others right?) But that doesn’t have to be your story.

It doesn’t have to be horrid days that never get better. Believe it or not there is sunshine after the storm, but you have to work for you. You have to want that!

There is a place where you can help SAVE yourself.”

  • “Practicing these skills together has drawn us even closer and increased our compassion for one another. Because we share what we discovered working on ourselves, we’re uncovering things that hold us back.

Improving communication creates change and promotes healing. We talk now when old habits try to creep back in without fear.

We’re a lot better for each other and as examples to our children than ever before. Our love for one another grows every time we work on ourselves.”
